HOW TO GO TO AMALAPURAM

Konaseema Islands are located in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, INDIA between the tributaries of the River Godavari. Amalapuram is the major town in Konaseema, other towns are Razole, Ravulapalem, Mummidivaram, Muramalla. Rajahmundry, Kakinada and Palakollu are other towns situated around Konaseema. 

Rajahmundry is the only airport near to Konaseema. Other accessible airports are Vijayawada (160 Kms – 4 Hours) and Visakhapatnam (200 Kms – 6 Hours). Rajahmundry is also well connected with Road (NH-16) & Rail (Vijayawada - Visakhapatnam line). 

Kakinada and Palakollu are well connected with Road & Rail. Amalapuram is well connected by Road only. NH-16 (earlier NH-5) passes through Konaseema Islands. 

You can reach Amalapuram, Razole, Dindi directly by Buses from Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam cities. 

To reach Rajahmundry: Buses, Trains, Flights available from various cities of Andhra Pradesh.

To Reach Razole: Buses available from Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada. Nearest Rail Head is Palakollu (21 Kms. approximately). Nearest Bus Point is Razole. 

To Reach Dindi : Buses available from Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada. Nearest Rail Head is Palakollu (14 Kms. approximately). Nearest Bus Point is Razole. 

To Reach Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary / GK Guest House : Buses available to Kakinada from Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada. Nearest Rail Head is Kakinada (15 Kms), Samalkot (30 Kms)
